One thing I always enjoy around fight time is a good cigar. There is nothing like kicking back after a fight and hashing over the night's event with a decent smoke. I have shared plenty of sticks with managers, trainers, promoters, and even fighters.

So I got to thinking one day, why not have our own label? It took a little work on the Internet, but I found the perfect company -- VictoryCigars.com in Bellevue. We sent them the Boxing Prospects logo and let their designers go to work. Called Boxing's Best, we now have our own cigar.

We will be bringing several cigars to each fight and passing them out to fight fans and other people involved with boxing.

The cigar is a fine smoke although a little rough looking. After all, a boxing cigar should not be pretty. It is extremely mild with just a hint of pepper at the end. It draws easily and burns cleanly all the way down. Catch us early and you could get a free one. Don't be disappointed if we are out. We are generous but still have our limitations. We will have more at the next fight.
